I had a meeting in Colorado Springs yesterday and was able to visit Garden of the Gods park for sunrise. I did regret not taking my tripod, but I packed very light for an overnight trip so I just had the camera and one lens.  Here are a few of the photos I came home with.

And one panorama taken from the visitor center.  I think there's too much sky but just below the frame is a road with lots of traffic.  I should have zoomed in and taken more frames but didn't think of that until after I had left the park...

Thank you for the encouragement.  Colorado is definitely a great place for landscapes.  I'd love to bring my camera over where you live some day, though.

I feel blessed to live in Scotland, we have some of the most stunning landscapes in the world.
