Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 22 April 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. Peter is running a fun single-lens challenge--everyone is welcome to play. Just look for the One Week, One Camera, One Lens thread in the mini-challenge forums.

P.P.S. The editing exercises are taking a break at the moment, but feel free to play around in the old exercises.

I'm going to go first this week.  Lots of business travel lately and I may not be able to post again for awhile.  I was in Colorado Springs on Tuesday and spent the early morning at Garden of the Gods park for sunrise.  I just posted a thread in the Landscape section with a few more shots. That's one advantage of traveling west - I always wake up really early...

This one was serendipitous as I was almost out of the Federal Wildlife Refuge and ready to pack up my gear. This American Kestrel was just hanging on the wind looking for a meal.

Here is a photo of the last wooden ship in the Swedish navy, built in 1941, decommissioned in 2007. She is an old minesweeper.

Took a stroll around the Phoenix Zoo to look at flowers, seeing as how spring has sprung here.  I will post wild cactus flowers next week
