If you look at photos in newspapers or associated with web stories, the original version might actually produce the same result. For example, most images associated with the story will be aligned so that they draw the reader into the story or the page. It will be hard to find a photo of someone looking towards the open edge of a newspaper and generally the photo is aligned facing the story unless it is above or below the story.

i might have to have a play around with the above photo, i have recently started photoshopping and lightrooming my photos and i just cant decide on my own haha.
Hopefully with the above photo from another user it might help me develop a photo that is similar to mine without the variety of editing choices
So much flexibility in photo editing it can sometimes be a pain!

Nice one Warrick. I like this edit.
Let's open the floor up to other images now - that's the idea of this game.
Does anyone want to post up a shot to see how others will edit it?

Good point there Stas, edit only took me 10 mins which was good for me as i have only started to play around in lightroom.
Off memory i think when i changed the exposure that might have bought the white area into the sky a bit not sure if it would work easier with a raw file or not as the jpeg being saved repeatedly can lose data, or i just need a bit more to play around on the image.
But i think the background and left part of the image is not as washed out as the original
