Hello, I've just switched from the D3300 to this D750. After I've taken about 50-100 photos, sometimes less, the shutter stops taking a photo when it's depresses. It will unfocus and continually focus and I'm lucky to get a few photos out of it. Is this a problem with the camera or something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

It is hard to say with the info you provided.  From your description it sounds like you are having problems focusing and by default most cameras are configured to focus before firing a shot.  Can you provide any more info?
