Hi,

I have a NIkon Coolpix B700 camera brought recently. The issue is the photos are not getting rendered correctly. I have attached the screen shot and I am not ale to attachthe original file as it is of 31 MB hear I can attach a max of 20 MB

I have installed Nikon NRW Codex ver 1.7 and restarted the system but the issue still remains the same

PhotoNotRenderingCorrectly.JPG .

Please help.

Regards,

Have you tried reading your files with Nikon's free editor, Capture NX-D? If it works in the editor, the codec is the culprit. if it doesn't work there either, your camera, card or card reader is misbehaving.

Thanks Merco,

I have installed "View Nx 2" which is again a free software from Nikon. It seems the images are rendering correctly over here. Now any idea how to fix this codec issue? As I normally use "After Dark" and my dad Picasa. It will be nice to see these images working over there.

Regards,

Good to know that it works in Nikon's own software. This points to a codec problem and eliminates hardware trouble as a cause. I can't help much with Windows problems as I have been a mac user since the System 7 days.

Ok, Not sure how it works here... can you refer this issue to an expert in windows space?

We will just have to hope that one of the windows users chimes in.
