I have recently bought a D3400 and I'm still not totally knowledge of all the functions and features of this camera, I've got some books on the camera and going through them but not sure what to even call this feature and where to look it up. I don't know what I did to get it to do this but every time I take a picture now what shows up in an overlay over top of the picture on the screen is a information list that starts in the top left corner with the following information

Noise Reduc.          : Hi ISO, NORM

ACT.  D-LIGHT       : AUTO

VIGNETTE CTRL   : NORMAL

COMMENT              :

I'm not sure how to get rid of this information? can't seem to find anything

that disables this in the menu sets. It goes away if I hit the zoom feature on the photo, comes right back if zoom back out!  This was never there before so I turned something on that I can't find how to shut it off? can any help please to get rid of the scree, it's not something I want on my screen every time I take a shot

If you view a picture and press the multi-selector up or down, what happens with the overlay?

I haven't used the D3xxx bodies enough to remember exactly what screens are available, so you will have to experiment a bit.

lol I feel a bit foolish, you solved my problem, what I didn't realize is if you hit the multi selector up and down is it gives you different information sets, histogram, etc

Thanks very much for the help, I must have hit it by accident and changed the default info set on the screen,  ;)

This is one of the more frequent questions and is easily solved, unlike "Snapbridge doesn't work, why?".
