I am new to digital photography and trying to understand lots of new things. One of the more difficult areas for me is post processing. I think I see the potential advantage of shooting raw and plan to do both raw and JPEG so I can immediately have pictures to share but also have the possibility of making some of them really extraordinary. My problem is that the instructions for Capture NXD are over my head. I have tried some YouTube videos but they seem to either jump into the middle or focusing on some detail that I don't understand.

Is there something out there for beginners to help learn how to use this software and the basics of post processing.
