is there a long lens that will work with a nikon D3000 that is 600mm or above?

All three third-party 150-600 telezooms have built-in focus motors, so they will work on the D3000.
The first generation of the Tamron isn’t a good match for a D3000 as it can’t be calibrated by the user and the D3000 doesn’t have AF fine-tune.
The Sigma Sports version works well on a tripod, but for hand-held use it isn’t a good match for a low mass body like the D3000.
Earlier lenses than the 150-600 class usually are screw-drive and won’t AF on D3xxx, D5xxx or mirrorless bodies as there is no focus motor in the body.
