Hello. I've been looking for a remote shutter release for my little Nikon D3500. All the ones I've seen on Amazon don't seem to include the D3500. Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me which one I need. Thanks in advance.

I tried to upload an image of the input on my camera but it failed to upload.

The only remote release for the D3500 seems to be using Snapbridge.

You can get one on ebay for under $3:00  .  Mine worked on my old D3200, and now on my D7200, so it should be fine.

The D3500 doesn’t have an IR port, so the ML-3 clones won’t work.

OOps, sorry about that.  I was not aware.  Does that mean that the D3500 has been down graded from the D3200 by not having an IR port?

Correct! They probably wanted to do something more to differentiate from the D5xxx series.
