okay i am on laptop and for some reason when i use laptop with windows 10. window photo makes Z6 raw files darker then should be. when window photo first shows the photo it show true photo. but when it gets done reading raw file make darker then should be. if look at jpg file does not make darker. not sure why window photo after reading whole raw file has to make darker then when first see it. and had to reset monitor 2 times. it fixed it. but still stays darker. i also have geforce card for gaming too. but when i went to display setting on computer say intell for card but when play games or lightroom says geforce card

i upgrade the to latest and still make them dark then should be. but when i use lightroom no issue at all. for some reason window photo show correct way it was taken. then after it reads who info makes darker then should be that sucks. and only does for raw files

The first preview you see when you open a raw file is the camera-generated jpeg that is embedded in the raw file. The software replaces it with its own interpretation of the raw data as soon as it is ready.

ACR does its own interpretation and doesn’t use the Windows codec.
