Hello,

I just purchased a Z5 and wondering if it is normal in low light settings that the rear screen and EVF are full of noise?  When I use it in low like the rear screen shows a lot of noise?particles that are kinda reddish at the top and they flicker a bit.

Thanks

Yep, in really low light, especially if using a slow shutter speed like 1 second or something, it seems like the EVF tries to mimic the light level that will show on the final image but of course the EVF can not actually show what an image at 1 second would look like. So... it just looks really noisy. The actual images look good though. I also find that at ISO 20,000, the AF does not work. But at ISO 8,000 it works. The only true glitch I have found in the Z5 is when recording video, with the 2nd card slot in "overflow" mode. The camera states "0min 0sec remaining" as if both cards are full, when in fact there's a whole empty card in slot 2 to use up still.
