I've just bought a used D800 and when I mount my Tamron 28-200mm 3.8-5.6 Macro and presses exp. button half down to focus, lens just focus once in all it's range, ending with "focus" infinity - no focus to the point I try to focus on and not allowed to shoot
Same experience with my Tokina SD 12-24mm 4.0

I've reset D800 to factory setting

I discussed with Nikon customer service and they say it's a lens issue, so I've send Tamron a mail with my experience and waiting for their answer. Meanwhile I try this forum.

I have no Nikkor lenses to try with, but have discussed with the seller that never had this experience with his Nikkor lenses. Unfortunately there are several hundreds of miles between us, so just visiting is not possible.
