Hello. Can anyone please help with this?

I'm trying to get my camera (d7500) to do bracketed shots but I'm failing. Am I right in thinking that once set up right the camera should take the amount of selected shots and the selected exposure levels without me touching the camera? Eg, 5 shots at 0.5 EV exposure difference.

I'm trying to set it up right but it still aint happening. I'm sticking to the manual like glue but nothing works. I put the camera in aperture mode and follow the instructions but still only one shot is taken.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

No idea apart from asking are you in raw or jpeg and does it work in both.

Have you tried setting the drive mode to one of the continuous settings?

Yes done that and it still doesnt do it! It just takes continuous photos all of the same exposure.

Is the Auto Bracketing set option set to AE only?

Have you pressed the BKT button while turning the main command  dial to set the number of exposures in the set and then the Sub-command dial to set the increment?

You will still have to press the shutter button until the bracket series is finished. It is a good idea to keep the Release mode to CH to get the fastest series possible.

Hello. I’ve finally sorted it after weeks of trying!

It was the bracketing function button at the front of the camera. For some reason it wasn’t set to bracketing. I’ve changed it now and it works like a charm.

Many thanks for all your help guys, it’s much appreciated.

Take care all.

Dave.
