I am wanting to buy a used D800 but am concerned about getting a Grey Market camera. Are there any used camera sources that are reputable and can guarantee I won't be sold a Grey Market camera?

If the camera is used it shouldn't really matter, since the origin is used for warranty repairs, and AFAIK the warranty is non-transferable.
However, you can tell the country of origin by the serial number, or by the type of paperwork that's included. Ask about these if you want to be sure the camera was originally targeted at a specific market.

It matters if you ever want to get the camera serviced by Nikon. Nikon won't service GM gear.
As to the OP's question, if you have any reason to mistrust the seller, Nikon should be able to confirm whether the serial number is from a gray market or US model.
