Nikon D200 with above mentioned lens.

 

1/60s, F/5.6, ISO 320, Focal Length 120mm and used built-in flash with CWA Metering.

 

Open to all suggestions.

When I look at this zoomed in only the green with red tips center leaf looks to be in focus, if this is what you were going for then its spot on.

When I look at this zoomed in only the green with red tips center leaf looks to be in focus, if this is what you were going for then its spot on.

 

Once again I failed to mention that this is a photo reproduction.  I was concerned about the general overall health of the picture.  Focus seems good and the exposure seems to alright, however the EXIF data shows a -5EV.  Perhaps I should have used  Spot Metering instead.  Thanks very much for your comment.

however the EXIF data shows a -5EV.

 

 

If a -5EV was used it is because it is set, for an exposure

compensation can never be performed by the camera it-

self. There is an EV button near the trigger to fix that.

 

OTOH, I do not see critical focus anywhere in the take! 
you may want to investigate if your camera model has the
AF Fine Tune in the menu and see what can be done. It is

normal to tweak a lens to a body.

Just to save Tony from having to search the manual for how to fine tune AF... The D200 doesn't have the fine tune, it was introduced with the D300.
