Good day all,
I'm having problems downloading images or doing remote photography from the snapbridge app on my android phone. The app says that connection to the camera has failed, but the phone shows it's actually connected to the camera's wifi (see Screenshots).
Does anyone know what might be the case?
Background info:
* I have a D5600 and a BQ Aquaris X pro
* I've checked all the points in the troubleshooting guide the app links to.
* The camera is on.
* I don't have snapbridge 360/170 installed.
* In the camera settings (though I must have tried every possible permutation)
- Airplane mode is off,
- Send to smart device (auto) is on,
- Bluetooth 'network connection' is on,
- An 'Android_Aquaris_X_' shows up on the list of Bluetooth paired devices,
- Bluetooth 'send while off' is on.
* Turning paired cameras off and then on again, switching tabs in SnapBridge, quitting and restarting SnapBridge, and/or ending pairing and then pairing with the camera again are all not working.
* In an attempt to solve the issue I've added the camera's wifi network and password manually into the phone, but also to no avail.
* Most annoyingly, I've had it work at some point with the same phone brand/type (BQ Aquaris X pro), before BQ gave me a new one due to other issues. I'm not convinced (yet) that the current problems are caused by this replacement though.
* I've tried resetting the camera, reinstalling snapbridge, making the phone 'forget' the wifi network.
Let me know if there's anything else I can try or if there is more information that you'd like to have.
Many thanks!
