Photo Information?

I would like to suggest that when people post their photos here for us to all see, they also post some information about how the photo was made. 

 

Camera body, lens, exposure information, that type of thing. 

 

It just seems like a "given" to me, but I don't see many people doing it. 

 

Maybe I'm just too picky?

I'll soon be adding a system that allows you to view the metadata if it's there.  Problem is, lots of editing software strips that information before the image is even uploaded...

Good suggestion. I have found myself asking various poster what lens they were using, what settings, etc. I'd love to see us all get in the habit (I haven't been perfect at it either) so that it doesn't matter if software strips the data.
