My combination for this week will be the D300 and AF DC Nikkor 105/2D
If anyone else wants to shoot any single lens with me for a week, feel free to post what you get in this thread.

I'm looking forward to seeing this. The AF DC Nikkors have long fascinated me.
The AF Nikkor 85mm f1.8 D is currently on my D610, so that's what I'll go with...
Let's start with a series that showcases how many expressions this lens can produce.
The first eleven shots are wide open with the DC ring at F, 5.6F, 4F, 2.8F, 2F, Zero, 2R, 2.8R, 4R, 5.6R and R. The camera is, of course, on a tripod and the lens is refocused between shots.
The next eleven are shot @f/2.8 with the same DC settings.
What a lovely bit of kit - and very nicely demonstrated.
I didn't have time to even take my camera out of it's bag today, rare for me. I'll try to catch up tomorrow. Well, actually it's nearly 1 in the morning, so later today then...
Well I was determined to take a pic today, what's more I was determined it was going to be a watch pic! However time (ironically), once again, got the better of me and I rushed to a degree that you're not seeing them!
What you've got instead is a teaser, in the form of the box - and the shadow of a gate on the car that was parked in front of mine when I left for work!
D610, 85/1.8D
I do like that 105 DC, Peter. I'd like to see a comparison between it and the new 105/1.4...
So overcome was I with guilt at my lack of contributions this week, that I did two lots today! Here's the first lot - a wander around the house looking for images on the theme of 'lines'.
Nikon D610, AF Nikkor 85/1.8D
And from our wander along Porthleven beach, followed by dinner, this evening...
Walking two of our dogs and one that we borrow on Thursday s and Fridays (it's along story…). South West Coast Path between Porthleven and Loe Bar.
Nikon D610, AF Nikkor 85mm f1.8 D
a few more...
The late, lamented AF Nikkor 300/f4 IF ED was SO much better for the above kind of photography...
I'll end this post with an example of why one should go to a bike store instead of a store where they sell spare parts and tools for cars to buy a bike.
At the LBS, they would have sold a bike that fits instead of one that is three sizes too large.
