A monopod with feet is slightly better than one without, provided you are standing on a solid flat ground. However it also depends on the quality of the build of the monopod.

The problem with most monopods with feet is that they won't let you get the maximum stability a monopod offers unless you always use it uphill as that stability comes from creating an isosceles triangle with the ground as the short leg. With the monopod vertical, you will always sway slightly when you use it.

Monopod with "feet" is better in general, but it make the monopod bulkier to carry. Some "feet" are also better in construction, size and use. Definitely recommend to try it out to see whether it will fit your need.

I actually have one of these beasts and rarely use the feet. After awhile they tend to be a bit of a hassle. However, in certain situations, they can and do come in handy. Just be sure you get a good brand such as the Manfrotto.
