The new advertisement box that opens in 3 locations for every page is attempting to launch a plug-in to play videos, and invokes a block. The exclusion prevents me from using the editor to make a post, literally hangs up after a letter or two. I have to go up and down the page to manually close the Ad boxes before making a post.

Is there a way to set preferences to avoid this?

I wonder how many other people this might be affecting.

I am running chrome under Win7 SP1.

I'm not seeing the ad but pages sometimes take minutes to load or I get a 'server not responding' message. Hopefully just teething troubles...

I'm using an old Mac running OS 10.7.5 and browsing on Safari 6.1.6

This is a screen shot of the Bad Ad Windows that refuses to load, and hangs the Editor for the site until it does.

Whatever that Ad is trying to Sell, I swear I will NEVER buy it. Unless it is Nikkor Rangefinder lenses for 90% off original prices. Everyone has their price.

AFAIK we only have banners in the header and footer, so that might be coming from a toolbar or something like that.

As for the server slowness, this should also be resolved now.

Are you still having trouble with the banner?

I am able to reply quickly now- without having to close the banner ads.

Seems to be much more responsive,

Thankyou!
