says that the 70-200 VC is a better choice for weddings than the VR2 on a d750

One thing to remember is that Tamron sometimes uses the same lensID for several lenses and the 24-70 and 70-200 pair share the same ID. This means that it isn't possible to use AF fine tune on the pair as changing one will change the other at the same time.
The Nikkor 70-200 II has slightly better contrast and is 15% faster to focus, whether that has any significance for your use and if it is worth the price premium is for you to decide. The 15-30 draws different from the 14-24 and is easier to use as it isn't as good at finding any stray light and convert it to glare as the Nikkor. The 24-70 lenses are about equal to each other in quality.
I haven't used any of the Tamrons enough to express an opinion on how the VC works.

Tamron's VC is top of class. Usually better than both Canon and Nikon offerings. Whilst a different lens watch Matt Granger hand hold the G2 150-600mm with 2x teleconverter at 1200mm all the way down to 1/10th of a second with reasonable results!!!! That really is insane. The new Tamron G2 70-200mm that was announced at WPPI has 5 stops of VC, which is class leading. This will be a beast of a lens. I'm fully expecting it to be as good as the new Nikkor E model that is twice the price.

I have all the lenses mentioned by the OP except the 45mm. And all work perfectly in every situation I have thrown at them into , including sports and dark wedding venues. I shoot on a D810 and D500.
