Heron Island, Queensland, Australia

Spent a few nights on Heron Island which is on the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. Had a few days of some less than ideal weather and then it came good as we were leaving. So I added on another night and got to do some more activities like snorkelling that I had wanted to do. Tried to borrow a friend of a friends underwater housing but he was hesitant to lend it to me unfortunately.

Yep... That's my daughter. So extremely proud of her to get in and do that. I know I would never have swum with sharks at 7 years old. Hell at 36 this was my first time. But the experience she received and the confidence she gained was priceless.

Great shots.  Reminds of my trips to Cairns for mountainbiking, and also snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef.  Thanks for rekindling that memory.
