You must have missed the fine print. We need your D3200 in return for being allowed to join. You can send it to ..... Haha, just kidding and welcome to the forum.

Are you from New England? You have a US flag, but your location says England.

Thanks K-9

Hello everyone!

Name's Gordon.  Been using cameras since the late 70's to document roamings around and family stuff.  Vivitar, Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Fuji... 110, 135, APS, 645, digital... tend to use whatever I enjoy using regardless of branding.  Just a frustrated hobbyist on a constant journey to improve my so-called photography skills.

Looking forward to interacting with members here and watching this site develop.

This will be an awesome tool to help us all grow and learn.

Welcome to the site, I also upgraded recently from a D40 to a D7100, how are you finding the transition? Have you managed to master all the functions the D7100 offers yet and what is the main difference you have found? I personally think the quality of the images are great, but I really liked my D40 which I had for five years. Have held onto it as a back up.

Welocme to the Forum Paul, very impressed with you images that are so diverse. I also have a Nikon 35mm prime, can you recall what images you used the 35mm to take?

Without going through individually no, sorry I can't remember. However 500px does display the focal length when you view the images. I quite often use an extension tube with the 35mm to get some impressive macro shots - as below:

Hello fellow Nikonites.
My name is Mark, purchased myself a 3100 about 8 months ago to kick start a new hobby, always been interested in photography but it's taken me 30 years to do something about it! Really impressed with my Nikon and enjoying learning how to use it to its full potential.

Hey everyone... happy to find another informative forum! I've been doing fine art photography for a few years now, and just recently started up a little business for people (kids & family) and product photography. Based in East Tennessee for now, but I'm a nomad, travel all over the US, and go back and forth to London quite a bit. Hoping to find a meetup next summer when I'm back over in the UK :)

Hello to all,my name is Marty.

Just joined nikonforums today, I saw it mentioned on another site.

So,.....being an avid Nikon photographer dating back more years than it care to think about I thought I'd throw my hat in and share in the cameraderie of  learning, sharing techniques and images, commenting, and meeting some of the talented photographers that frequent the many subject areas here.

Looking forward to taking part.

Marty
