Local Wildlife Photos

I have owned this lens for around 3 years now, use it for my wildlife photography , mainly used for birds like our Kingfishers which I hold a licence to photograph at the nest.
This lens is heavy and you need good support, not a lens to use freehand , but I would not want to part with it for what I photograph .
A top lens , but so it should be for the money it costs .
