This annual event didn't run for the last couple of years, for obvious reasons.

We visited here this morning. I took my D800E, Sigma 12-24mm & AFs 24-85mm.

A magnificent bull:

Just like supermarket trollies, cows won't always move where required:

Of the many demonstrations, this tree-cutting saw, driven by traction engine, looked very safe to use in any garden.

In case of accident, these ambulance-bikes were on-hand for any mishap.

This vintage Citroen's highly polished chrome made the lower half disappear against the grass.

Young farmers ready to show their expertise with their sheep.

As always, fairground attractions on-site.

By lunchtime, the air temperature was 29c, we were exhausted & went home.

I like the portable saw mill photo.

It kind of looks like a Morgan 3 wheel car, but you say it's a Citreon. I never knew that. Grass refection does make it blend in.

I think it is a Lomax 223 kit car. If so, it is based on a 2CV.

Nice set of pics.

I'd imagine H&S bods would have conniptions at the idea of a helter-skelter if it was a new thing today.

Nice to see a genuine old-fashioned amusement actually in use.
