… how much we who started out with film are influenced by the look of our chosen emulsions back in the day.
I really like to see the difference in pp in my weekly Your best… and now my Single in July threads.
I have analyzed my own shots and believe that growing up with Agfachrome CT slides, Ektapress colour neg on Kodak papers and Ilford PanF, FP-4 and HP-5 developed in the relevant Ilford soups and copied on Gevaert Artona and Ridax papers while they were available and later the Kentmere FB Warmtone papers and selenium toner has had a huge impact on what looks about right to me.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on this subject?
