It really does look way better than the other "Zs" but it is still a mirrorless
that doesn't address any of the griefs I have with the system or platform.

And, those problems would be?

Not problems, Ron, but griefs, inadequacies for me.
1, Ergonomics compromises my "paws" can't joyfully cope with.
2, The EVF… possibly the worst thing for the wildlife part of my work.
3, My 5 bodies of 4 models have similar layout, the Zs not.
4, The weight… every thing is front heavy with these… bad for stability
5, … many more smaller things that are not as bad as the preceding four.

- I see, and understand. Ergonomics is a very important consideration.
- I kind of liked the viewfinder on the one Z7 I very briefly tried out. Maybe in actual use it's not all that great. And, focus peaking seemed like something I could really take advantage of.
- Nikon seems to love moving buttons around. I hate that!
- The Z9 picture I saw seemed to suggest a camera with a bit more size and heft. The integrated vertical grip is a welcome addition.
