Hi all, had my d7100 since they first came out and I,m not very easily stumped,BUT I am by this, been shooting RAW for couple of years and developing them in Zoner pro 18 not problems,Zoner even did the odd RAW files out of my Nikon P7000 too !.
Now suddenly Zoner will open up any old NEF file to edit from my card, but any just taken onto card NEF, it won't open up in edit it says file corrupted or wrong file type.
Done all the usual, tried different cards, same thing,re formatted all cards in camera same thing,I am going to take Zoner,s advice and change the Adobe RAW converter again ,But just go a feeling it isn't Zoner !
WHY ? Well just before when I took the first of the photos which then wouldn't be reconised, for a moment a err on camera top display came on ,stopping me from taking pictures, not sure what was going on. I turned camera off and back on and the the err disappeared and camera started taking pictures,,except as stated the not editing Started in Zoner, this is a massive problem for me,any ideas ??? Please !

Site Supporter

Download the free Capture NX-D from Nikon's support site.

Try to open one of your problematic NEFs in Capture.

If it works, the problem is Zoner.

If it doesn't work, either your camera corrupts the data or your card reader does.

If you think the fault lies with the camera, do a two-button reset and try again.
