Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 10 June 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Looked at the pictures on your Flickr site.

For having the Flickr images shown in the forum, you’ll need to copy the BBC code rather than the link. (The BBC code can be found next where you copied the link)

I do copy the BBC when home on my computer but I don’t see it when I’m on Flickr with my IPad. I’m not currently home. I would prefer to copy the BBC code. Any suggestions?

You can find it here

The code looks like

5fdd8ace4c5be7047271606b48a7b26d.jpg

When you heve selected the whole line
With an iPad the pain is to select that whole text.

Obviously you can also remove some of the bits and pieces in that string, the most important being the IMG tag.
If left alone; i.e. from « bracket IMG » to « bracket slash IMG bracket » you get the following:

Generated from my Apple iPad using tools.rackonly.com

Googled “can’t get bbcode on Flickr app” and found solution. Flick app doesn’t support it but this guy wrote his own code to get it.

Great that you found an alternate way of getting the full link.

All images shown in my post were done with my iPad (iOS 11.3 and Safari) - I don’t think that the fact that I am using an iPadPro should have influenced presentation.

Well, it has been awhile so I figured I would post an image or two for a change...I haven't picked up my Nikons in awhile, but hopefully that will change over the next week or two.   Here is part of the reason I haven't been shooting and part of the reason I want it to change...

IMG_0733.jpg

When that is your view, no real reason to move or even photograph it since I have done it so many times.  The next day we took the boat in for some service...my son and I took the scenic route and my wife picked us up later...Again, nothing spectacular, but a pretty neat view of the Neuse River.  I may have mentioned it before, but this is pretty close to the mouth of the river and I believe at it's mouth, the Neuse is the widest of any river in the world.  It is roughly 6 miles (9.65 km) across where it hits the Pamlico Sound . I'm guessing we are less than a few miles from that at this point...

IMG_0734.jpg

It certainly was a beautiful day for a boat ride...hopefully we will have the boat repaired and back giving us rides in no time!  While taking it in we passed an Osprey nest I want to go back and visit.

Another day at the race track but this time all the racers had four wheels.  Lots of panning practice still needed.  I'm trying to get my shutter speed down to 1/20" to 1/10" but my keeper rate is still very low.  Here's one I like, even though the focus is still not what I'm after.

I just have one this week, shooting only in the dawn or pre-dawn time of day to escape the heat.
