I have my own website Pentax Forums - The Ultimate Resource for Everything Pentax I started this as a way to share my photos with family and friends some of who live in africa.

i would like to receive some comments, good, bad or indifferent on the layout style and pictures contained within. I currently have way too many pics on there and think I should just keep my best work on show.

Any help or comments would be great

Wow some really good work there iNyoni, you certainly have a really good eye and angle for shots..

The page is really smooth and easy to navigate so i wouldnt change a thing, you mention you feel you have to much work on the site but i dont think so as you have a 'new pictures' gallery for your latest work, the other galleries work as your archives..

I really love your black and white work, you capture light and shadow perfectly. The boat picture on mainpage is stunning

Thanks Mark, it great to get some positive feedback. I'll maybe make my "New Pictures" more visual or move these to the start of the menu.

I really love your photography, just like Mark said you do have an eye for some good shots. My wife and were enjoying them last night. Your site is really cool looking, I love the font that you used. What web page builder did you use? Good job all around, keep up the good work!

Thanks Linkwilliams, I use WebSite X5 Evolution 9 to build the site and I think the Font I used was "Viner Hand ITC".

Off the back of both you and Mark I'll only be making some minor changes to the site as i was thinking of giving it a complete overhall.

Look out for some new pictures going on soon as i have a new D7100 that i'm dying to get out and use.

There are a lot of pictures and it takes a while to load on some pages.  One issue I have is that I have a fairly large 25" monitor and when you click on some areas, the heading of the site and one photo will appear on my monitor, but I have to scroll down to see the row at the bottom where you can click on other photos.  If I didn't scroll down, I would never know the other photos were there.

Other than the layout comments, you have some excellent photos on the site and I like the overall look of it.

Love that black and white pic with the white railing.  Stellar shot.  Is it actually in color and just a photo of a black and white scene?  Either way, it's a superb abstract shot.

Thanks K-9, I've been trying to sort that very issue out as i also have a large monitor. It's a work in progress.

The picture of the white railing is in color, the wall is painted black and the railing was just repainted before i took the picture. I plan to go back and take a few more shotes of it from different angles.

I think you have cracking photos on the site and particularly like the photo of the boat on land. Where did you take that image?

Thanks Tony. The boat was taken at place called Findochty in north East Scotland.

What was the story of the boat Rob, it looks like it is out in the wilds away from any water.

I'm not quite sure what happened to the wee boat. For some reason it's been lying about 100 meters from the shore for the last 3 years. Would love to know who owns it and why it's been left to rot on shore.

Nice business card, have you had any response from using it yet?
Does that mean that all your photos are black and white?

Thanks, I've only just ordered them this morning Tony but hoping to get some business from them. Thought I'd better get some made if i'm going to be stopping strangers and asking to take their pictures.

Not all pics are black and white but I do prefer to do Protraits in Black and White. Think they always look sharper.

Thought your new cards were great and a really good idea. It does not seem like only a weekend ago when we met up in Glasgow, I have posted some images.

Thanks Tony. I'm still going through my Raw files. i went beck up to the necropolis and spent about 2 hours walking and snapping. I'll start to post these over the weekend. I've also posted a few on your other link.

It was great to meet up. Looking forward to the next time.
