I have one of these. I bought it on ebay as a used camera. I compared the image quality to that from my Canon 50D and it was better in some respects! I am not a camera reviewer, so all the ins and outs or pros and cons are beyond my scope, but I can say that the camera performs well. The articulated rear screen is a real treat for me as a spectacle wearer and allows me to use the camera in unusual ways. Having said that, a viewfinder is a must for me and the electronic type on this model works well. A disadvantage to this type of camera is always the start up time and there are ways that one can speed it up if one sacrifices battery charge life, but you still have to wait for the lens to emerge, no matter what. Compact is a good word for this camera. I managed to get a cheap two part case for it and I am happier now that it has some protection around it.

There is only one serious problem that I have with it and it may be fixable. The 'daisy wheel' adjuster on the rear face is not working properly in the top (twelve o'clock) position. I can work around it by using the other two thumbwheel adjusters. The facilities that the camera offers are mind boggling to me! I have yet to find a shooting scenario for some things that it has to offer. Close up focusing is excellent.

I may edit this review as I use the camera more.
