I flipped them in and out of monochrome, as it happens and found that there wasn't a great deal of difference, but more importantly on the 'under the bridge' shot, I like the tiny bits of colour in the maintenance platforms. I often look at an image in monochrome to check out the tonal composition. It's akin to an old fine art trick/method.

Nice work, John! That's some lovely engineering work you've captured. I especially love the symmetry of the underneath perspective. You know, I think that one would be fun to see in black and white. (Maybe both of them, eh?)
