This zoom lens live up to all its' reputations.
I like:
Full frame & fast @ f/2.8.
Almost prime lens IQ, even wide open at both ends (14 & 24mm).
Extremely low distortion at 14mm.
Nice handling & balance.
I don't like:
Short zoom range.
No aperture ring, therefore cannot use on many film camera.
Lens barrel feel plasticky (or is it really plastic?)
Lens cap. A lowly Rokinon 14mm lens has a better design.
When compare to the similarly priced AF-S 17-35/2.8 which has an aperture ring, this is a much better value for landscape/interior work.
