Once linked with the ft-1 so you can use all your other f mount lenses with it. Then this camera becomes so much more.
With the 2.7x extra magnification this way a 70-200 f2.8 becomes a whopping 189-540 f2.8.
The only things let down by this camera is the lack of a bracketing button. A true function button and whilst using the ft-1 the ability of long exposures is gone too. Also as only uses a 1 inch sensor the noise can't be terrible even at low iso.
Overall this camera is excellent and is perfect for me whilst big wall climbing as light and does an superb job at taking the pictures.
