Night Scene Photo Contest Winners

We are happy to announce the winners of our official June, 2014 "Night Scene" photo contest:
Tied for first place was forum member nbanjogal with "Milky Way over Moulton Barn", an impressive single exposure shot with a Nikon D600. Click here to comment and view a larger version of the photo. She will be receiving a $50 gift card prize, courtesy of B&H Photo.
Our other first-place winner was forum member jsoule with "The Night Lights of Zion", a fantastic star photo taken with a D800:
And our honorable mention was "Moonlight serenade in Livigno" by forum member giank1957. Well done!
We'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate our winners one more time!
It's now time for us to rate and comment on the submissions to last month's "Black and White" photo contest, whose finalists will be announced in two weeks, when voting will begin to determine the winners. Click here to browse last month's submissions in the gallery.
Our new photo contest theme for this month is "High Speed", and it features the same great prizes as last month. Click here to submit a photo to our August photo contest.

Thanks so much! Wow--I didn't expect this. The photos in this contest were all just amazing. After I entered my photo and then saw the other images from the other photographers, I told my husband, "Well, I'm not winning that one." Too many other fabulous images! I guess technically I didn't win since there was a tie, but still, it's an honor!
Is it tacky to say which one I voted for (not mine)? I really loved it!
I probably shouldn't...
I knew that was the winner as soon as I saw it! Congrats to all!
