This may be the best picture I've ever taken. I was just finishing up a photo shoot at a local farm with my twin sons playing in the background. As the sun was starting to go down I announced we were leaving. As I packed up my gear, I looked over my shoulder to see the boys (with my wife close behind) walking down the path toward our car. Sometimes they would spontaneously hold hands while they walked, as they did here. I saw the light, etc., and scrambled to get my camera back alive before they walked into the shadows. I just made it. This was not a posed photo at all, though it kind of looks like it.

It's great when it all comes together like that. How many times have we said "Missed it!" My old rifle instructor used to say "You didn't miss it, you just didn't quite hit it! If you missed it you would be firing in the opposite direction! Try again but prepare yourself better!" It worked. My aim (and preparation) improved greatly.
