Each time i pass a "clear cut" for a new construction project...new road...new subdivision......I always think about the Cree Indian Prophecy:
" ONLY AFTER THE LAST TREE HAS BEEN CUT DOWN, ONLY AFTER THE LAST RIVER HAS BEEN POISONED, ONLY AFTER THE LAST FISH HAS BEEN CAUGHT, ONLY THEN WILL YOU FIND THAT MONEY CANNOT BE EATEN ".
I am aware that this a bad picture....but i wanted an apocalyptic feel do depict this forever scarred and mutilated landscape on a gorgeous fall day.
