Turkey Jim's covered bridge in New Hampshire.On Sunday August 28, 2011, a powerful tropical storm "Irene" made its way up the Eastern coast and into NH causing many rivers to flood. Turkey Jim's Covered Bridge was swept away by the Pemigewasset River. Turkey Jim's Covered Bridge slammed into another bridge downstream, cutting off the main access route to Branch Brook Campground. In October of 2013 the rebuilt bridge was placed back on it's foundation.
