First a few words about my version of the 36 On 35 Project...
Since I don't have any film cameras, I obviously wasn't shooting a 36 exposure roll on a 35mm camera. My goal was to shoot all 36 days within my neighborhood, or when out of town, shoot where I was staying. I chose to use my D7000 with the 18-135 DX lens. With the exception of five days, I believe I succeeded in my goal. Two of those days I was shooting events in the neighborhood, so I shot with my other gear. One of those days I failed to get any useful image and one of those days my best image was on my iPhone. One day I was overcome by some unexpected events and didn't even manage to get an iPhone photo!
Overall I'm pleased with my results. I wanted to capture the nature and beauty of our new neighborhood to share with others and I think I've mostly done that.
June 28th below was one of those days where I was shooting an event and used my other gear.
June 26
A bit of the local wildlife...
June 27
My least favorite image of the Project...but it came out better than I thought it would...Lit strictly with a dim streetlamp you can see leaves on the left and almost a silhouette of a deer near the center...
June 28
Horse show shoot...starting with a photo of the golf cart that gives me the ability to carry all my gear around the neighborhood quickly...the last two are of some wonderfully photogenic miniature horses who live at the stable...
June 29
My boys and their pups...
June 30
I really liked these two images below from a trail that travels along the river. I thought I'd take a page from Bart's book and try them as B&W. I'm really happy with the results...
July 1
A horse was getting some training in a small paddock and occasionally paid more attention to me than the trainer...I did get permission from the trainer before approaching...
July 2
My oldest trying to teach his pup to drive the golf cart...neither appears to be paying much attention to the task...
So there is the first of my five weeks of images...Hope you enjoyed...

Really nice! You made some lovely images--good-looking boys and dogs, by the way.
