Last weekend we attended a baseball tournament (5 games) for my 13 year old nephew, and an Equestrian competition for a friends 15 year old granddaughter. While at the baseball games we were entertained by an airshow from a nearby airport. Leaving hime early in the morning on Saturday,we stopped to photograph the Wild Horses of Maricopa, shooting into the...
We stayed at the Arizona Inn in Tucson two days ago. It opened in 1930 and has retained that sense of time and place. We love it. The buildings are a very southwestern style of architecture.
Shot with my D750 and Sigma 24-105 lens. I shot in b/w in the early morning sun looking to capture shadows and angles.

They redeemed themselves the following game by beating Canada 2-0 for 3rd place. That placing qualified them to play Colombia in March for the final Olympic berth. Tbonz had forewarned me that I may not...
Attached are two attempts of mine for shooting the moon eclipse last night. I used my D750 and a 105 macro. Maybe I should have used my other lens a DX 18-300, which usually does not give very sharp images. I have to practice more on my moon shots.
My two youngest grandchildren from Colorado, Kai and Tegan Rivera, came down to visit me in Arizona. This is the first time I have seen them in three years. We went to a local park and played on the swing set. I captured quite a few photos in b/w, looking to see if there is more definition than in color.
