I have been shooting via Capture One, but recently my 850 is not being read by my computer or software on two different Macs. Has anybody ever had similar issues with their cameras? Do we think its a camera port issue, tether issue, usb computer port issue?

Ah thank you! Just posted to the forum as well.
I shoot product and need to be able to see it large on the mac screen so that I can alter and adjust vs walk back and forth- saves a lot of time for me!
I recently updated to Catalina and ran into the issue of the software being too advanced but they updated Capture One since then. I will check out Image Capture, thanks for the advice.

That said, why does everybody shy away from using card readers?
What version of MacOs is on the computers? What has changed that could have a bearing on reading the card in your camera? Have you tried using Image Capture?
