Love the hair

Posted by Ignacior, 04 November 2013 · 629 views

Love the hair This kid pulled this star fish out of water at the Imperial Beach pier. He actually somehow dragged his hook and line to the bottom and when he brought it up he had it on.

I actually like the fact that his hair matches the starfish.

More Seals

Posted by Ignacior, 31 October 2013 · 559 views

These are actually a little older, i had them in a folder that i thought i deleted almost a year ago. Yesterday I found them on a hard drive i had in my closet.

I love these guys, I love how much they resemble puppies. But don't be fooled, there is a downside to laying around all day and sleeping, they poop all over each other all day. They literally poo...

out on a stroll

Posted by Ignacior, 30 October 2013 · 632 views

out on a stroll just out for a walk the other with the mutt. You really cant beat this for it being 5 minutes from home. And i live in a city, granted its not New York city but its a city none the less. The beauty of San Diego is that at any given moment you can be within an hr from the beach and the snow. Out in the country or on coast.

This is out in the country.

Random...

Random... Could possibly be the most random pic I've ever taken, but i like the way it came out.

I believe its a library, it overlooks the coast and probably sits on property worth millions since its 50 feet from the shore.

Anyway, I like the way the color came out, which is why its here.

Rain!

Posted by Ignacior, 29 October 2013 · 504 views

I normaly love rainy weather, but today my plan was to head to the coast after work and get some sunset surf shots. Woke up and its pouring rain so i leave my gear at home. Now its and hr away from me leaving work and the sky could not be any more clear. Ugh.. maybe tomorrow.

Sometimes, there is no reason.

Posted by Ignacior, 29 October 2013 · 489 views

I don't always have a specific reason why I take a pic, Sometimes i just like the way it looks. The colors of dusk or the calmness of the bird so close to humans.

Actually, most times I have no reason.

Century Plant

Century Plant So this plant grows out of the agave plant, which as we all know gives us the gift of tequila!!! All individual flowers eventually fall and the plant dies. But all those flowers in turn create more agave,

Which means more Tequila!!!!

Im sure theres much to the process than that, but the important thing is we still get more Tequila!

Ok, so i may be obsessed.

Posted by Ignacior, 26 October 2013 · 443 views

I've always felt there is a connection, but the truth is, i just like butterflies. Have no explanation, i just enjoy looking at them, and of course taking taking pics of them.

I found out today there is a "Bird and Butterfly" garden about 5 miles from where I live. Its going to become one of my favorite spots.

My next obsession is dragonflies. I've tri...

At the Pond behind my house. These guys always seem so calm, but underneath the surface those logs are kicking a mile a minute. Quite a beautiful animal.

MAX!!!!

He makes the goofiest faces when hes running. I usually let him get ahead of me on the trails and then suddenly call him back.

Some of these arent great, but they capture the spirit.

Pleasant surprise!

Took my dog on one of my regular hiking spots this morning and lo and behold! I've been wanting to get a decent shot of one of these guys for a while. just walking up a trail and i went to wipe sweat of my forehead, tilted my head up and saw him in the tree. I even walked around the tree to get a more clear shot.

Sometimes i get really lucky. The real cr...

Unconditional Surrender/Bob Hope

Posted by Ignacior, 18 October 2013 · 500 views

Unconditional Surrender, Also known as the kissing statue is a depiction of the iconic photo taken at the end of WW2 of a young sailor and nurse kissing. interestingly as it turns out, according to the girl the sailor was a complete stranger. This statue is made of bronze, obviously painted and sits in the shadow of the USS Midway Museum. I need to visit...

I love San Diego

Posted by Ignacior, 16 October 2013 · 491 views

I love it. Anytime of day its beautiful. This is in La Jolla, its known to be some of the richest real estate in the country. Its about a 5 minute drive for me from work to this spot. The spot where the seals hang out is called the " Children s Pool' reason being is that its a small little beach that's somewhat blocked off from the waves, so kids can safe...

Ramblings on Going Manual.

Posted by Ignacior, 15 October 2013 · 512 views

So about a year or so ago i bought and downloaded an e-book called " The art of going manual" by the San diego based "IFLC". I read the first day, tried some of the courses from the book and off i went. The book basically preaches shooting manual all the time, they talk about not needing an expensive camera and expensive glass or fancy equipment to take a...
