Took this the night after 2 earthquakes were felt just outside Auckland, New Zealand. 4.5 about 15 miles under the sunny spot!

Taken up in the hills above the village of Ystradfellte in South Wales UK.
There are a few lone trees like this growing in or alongside outcrops of limestone in this area.
The weather up there changes very quickly, on my way up the mountain I had rain, hail and strong winds followed later by beautiful evening sunshine and even a rainbow thrown in too before the clouds closed in again.

I got lucky this evening with stars overhead but surrounded by lightning. I learned so much I can't wait for the next big storm. This is about 5 exposures merged. Taken from Dilworth Mountain in Kelowna, BC, Canada.
