Well, I did it.  Yes sir, I took the plunge so now I am a traitor, a Red Coat, a Turncoat, Benedict Arnold, or a Quisling, even.

This afghan was made by my mother (I believe she knew it was her parting gift) who shortly after completing it, was no longer of this world.  Hope you like it.

Here it comes:  Canon t5 with Canon 18~55mm f/3.5~5.6 IS II lens.

1/60s, f/5.6, ISO @800, pattern metering, focal length @55mm and used onboard flash.

Thanks so much for viewing.  Only PPE was downsizing.

Tony

I'm very sorry to heat about your Mom, we lost mine this year. Everyone should have such a long and full life.

For your choice in cameras,

if it makes you feel better- I also have a Compact Canon.

There's nothing wrong with being a rebel with a Rebel.

Why ISO 800 when you use flash? The canon 18 MP sensor is quite noisy above 400.

I do not know why.  That is what the file data shows it to be.

I like the looks of both of these.  You were wise to hang on to film SLRs.  Nice product shot.  thnx.  tony

Back when I was shooting with Minoltas I had a chance to pick up the Minolta version of the CL. Now, I wish I had bought it but at the time I didn't properly appreciate rangefinder cameras.
