when ever i load up my pictures from memory card to computer i get red square box in pictures. what would be causing it or what did i do to make it do that. i found out had focus point on nikon photo editing on. so not sure how i turn that on.

when i take pictures now i get red box on pics why

Which application are you in? What OS?
On a mac, you press shift+f to toggle the focus point overlay on/off in Capture NX-D and cmd+shift+f in ViewNX2.

i did not know when i load nikon photo editing program i had it set for showing focus point. not sure why i turn it on in nikon photo editing program.

yes i did for some reason i do not know why i turn on focus point for viewnx2 and had to turn it off. do not recall making that change to viewnx2 program.
