Display Isn't Working

My camera's display doesn't work after I take a picture but when I want to use the menu it works fine! I can't figure out if these needs a real fix or if it's something that is minor and I can do my self! Maybe a button I need to push or something! Thanks!

Do you want to see the photo you just took on the screen? Turn on image review in menu > playback menu. 

It would help if you'd post what you are expecting and the model of your camera.
