Greetings from Madrid!

I'm an American expat that's been shooting Nikon actively for about fifteen years. Dabbled in 35mm as well as digital, but haven't the time and resource these days for chemicals, so it's basically down to my D700 and my motley assortment of mostly AIS lenses.

Welcome. I'm passing through Madrid on my way to Seville, Rota and Cordaba on Thursday. Any recommendations on what to shoot?

Wish I could give you a really resounding answer, but I've found this town tricky for photography. There's interesting things, but not easy to photograph. I guess if you're only here for a day, then the thing is to go to Sol, the historic city center. There is a certain amount of history there, plus all the colorful people.
