The Nikon 1 V2 is a high-speed mirrorless camera designed for enthusiasts. It replaces the Nikon 1 V1.

Nice captures Mike.

Does the V2 fully recognize and operate the Sigma 150-600? If so that gets you a possible focal length equivalent of 1600mm. :)

I have tested the Tamron 150-600 on a Nikon 1 J5 and the J5 had some issues with managing the aperture.

It recognized the 150-600 C the same as a Nikon AFS lens,i dont have the lens anymore as it gave inconsistant results on my D7200,I now have the Tamron 150-600 and they dont like playing together, another sample from that outfit.

On a bird watching forum i use a discussion on the V2 and CAF grabbed my interest, the longest lens i have for it is the 30-110 but i took it to the local park to try.

These images say to me Nikon had a winner when you consider the age of the V2,all from one burst.

A longer lens would have helped
