How to post large photos in the forums without BBCode

To insert large photos in a post:

  • First, upload the photo to your gallery space here on the site.
  • Go to the gallery and open the photo.
  • Click on Options>Share links

  • Choose the Image Link
Posted Image
  • Copy that
  • Start a new reply
  • Use the image link in the editor
Posted Image
  • Paste the url
Posted Image
  • Done!

For Flickr users: here is how to do it using BBC code...

 

Headstill--when you open the image in Flickr, look at the bottom right corner. You should see something like this:

Click on the arrow, and you'll get a window that allows you to choose how you share--BBC code is one of the options, and you can even choose how large you want your image to appear in the thread.

When this window comes up, copy  the code that appears highlighted in blue in the first field, and then paste that code into the thread.
